Joe Town Speedway is home to the most technologically advanced electric go-karts on the market today.
Our Fall Hours are in effect August 20th thru mid/end of October 2025:
M-Thurs: Closed (Exception: We will be open 12-8pm on Labor Day (Mon, Sept 1, 2025)
Fri: 4-10pm
Fri-Sat: 12-10pm
Sun: 12-8pm
Open these hours as long as the track is dry and temps are above 45 degrees.
Regarding rain:
In the summer, the track dries quickly after a rain and we always try to reopen even after it rains.

Our karts are capable of 0-60 mph in under 4 seconds (though for safety on our track, they are governed to safe speeds for all ages). We have 14 single karts and 6 double karts. Our track has 9 turns, banked edges, and a professional slick finish to allow drifting for those who want drifting. Come on out for an awesome, family friendly activity in St. Joseph, MO! 🏎💨
Single Kart Driver/Rider Parameters:
$10 per race
Minimum height to drive single: 52 inches
Maximum weight to ride: 350 lbs
No minimum age to drive a single kart. It is a height minimum of 52”, which is usually at least a 7 year old child.
** NEW IN 2025 - Kid's Karts **:
$9 per race
Minimum age to drive Kid's Karts: age 3
Maximum height to drive Kid's Karts: 54 inches
Kid's Karts can only operate with other Kid's Karts
Double Kart Driver/Rider Parameters:
$12 per race
Minimum to ride as a passenger: age 3
Max weight as a passenger: 75 lbs
Must be age 18 or older to drive a double kart with child passenger.
No age maximum to race. Do not race go karts of you are pregnant or have back or neck problems.
